Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time of access, page requested and browser type in order to deliver the website and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing in the USA is possible; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and also uses standard contractual clauses.
Language choice
On your first visit, the language follows your browser's language setting. If you choose a language yourself, we store this choice in your browser's local storage (key "cn-lang") so that the website opens in that language next time. This information does not leave your device. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
External links and affiliate links
Our pages contain links to makers, retailers and organisations. No data is transmitted to them when you load our website. Only when you click a link do you leave our website, and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
Some product links are marked as affiliate links. If you click on one, the retailer or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technologies on its own website to record that you came via Canovia and to settle the commission. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address and your message solely to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please contact us at the email address above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in your country of residence.
